In Studio Sun Catcher Class: $100 (Currently not available due to Covid-19)

This is a perfect class for students with no experience as well as intermediate students with some experience who may want a refresher course. All levels are welcome. In the 4-hour class we will cover all of the skills and techniques to build a unique piece of stained glass art. Once you have chosen your pattern or drawn a custom pattern you will have the opportunity to choose from a huge selection of art glass with different colors and textures. We will then learn the art of cutting, grinding, copper foiling and soldering and then we will finish our pieces by attaching hangers and a chain. Most students can finish a sun catcher that is smaller than 8.5 X 11 and has 8 or fewer pieces of glass. If you are not able to finish your piece during your class or have chosen a more complex design, you can sign up for another class, ($100), or open studio time, ($12.50 per 15 minutes).

Open Studio Time: $12.50 per 15 minutes (Currently not available due to Covid-19)

Bring in a stained glass project you have already started or begin a new piece of stained glass art. During open studio time students will work on their pieces with my help and advice. Open studio time is open to intermediate and advanced students and anyone who has attended the Stained Glass 101 Workshop. Tools including glass cutters, grinders and soldering irons will be available for use. Glass, copper foil, solder and framing zinc for larger panels and pieces will be available for purchase during class.
